Feathers, which side?

Traditionally, men's hats are feathered on the left side, women's on the right side.

Mine are in a drawer in the house. I do occasionally put a feather on certain hats. But I prefer a nice Mercedes Benz vintage pin on my bow.

A feather would look strange on a back bow. They are special just the way they are.
