I just saw the piece Keith Olbermann did last night on Johnny Damon's amazing 2 base steal in the World Series. What Keith failed to mention was that the whole objective of being on third base was to make the pitcher afraid to throw a slider, for fear of throwing it in the dirt, and instead throwing a fastball, which A-Rod blasted into left field.
Anyhow, I just thought it would be fun to discuss favorite World Series moments in history.
One of my least favorite, but most memorable, Series moments was when Bill Mazeroski hit that infamous 9th inning home run, winning the World Series for Pittsburgh, against the Yankees.
Of course there's Don Larson's perfect game.
Any other favorites?
