In Sarasota, Fla., a 25-foot-high aluminum replica of the sailor/nurse has stirred up deep currents of controversy. Art critics hate it, according to published reports. But it has attracted thousands of tourists and locals alike.

I like it but..

I do like it but I do believe it is out of place. Maybe close to the WWII Memorial in DC? I believe there is also a garden along the Mall in DC that contains large oversize art. Who wants two 25 ft people kissing in their town? Reminds me a B horror movie from the 50's.
