The back length - from the base of the collar to the bottom of the jacket measures 23' (it curves upward to that lowest point).

It's definitely not as short as the measurement would suggest. Mine measures the same. I'm 5'10" and it hits right about where I want it to (at the base of my belt line)

Yes, it can be misleading in that respect - I'm 5'10 too and the length is perfect
