I'm selling my Aero Highwayman as my new Sheene just arrived today! I'm the second owner, purchased off eBay in February 2015. The original owner, who is also a fellow lounger, purchased it as a custom order from Thurston Bros. in December 2014.
From speaking with the original owner it was a bit too big and he purchased a new one in a different size. For me, while being an absolutely beautiful jacket, I always had a nagging feeling it was just a bit too short.
Here are the measurements:
-P2P 25"
-Shoulder 19.5"
-Back length (base of collar down) 25.5"
-Sleeve length 26"
-Waist 21.75"
Specs are as follows:
-dark brown FQHH, antique brass hardware (ball and chain pulls), talon zip, left interior pocket w/zip closure, brown cotton drill lining.
Overall I would rate this jacket in excellent condition. It is not fully broken in yet, and will stand up on its own. I wore it for the first couple months of ownership, but with the warmer months it has pretty much been in the closet. Since ordering my new Sheene I have not worn it at all knowing I would be selling it. Comes from a smoke free home. No rips, tears, stains, or gouges to the leather.
I am asking $650, but am open to offers. I am probably going to list this on eBay but would prefer to sell it to someone here.
