Wesco's are a bargain for what you get. You're just paying for a name when you spend 900 clams on a brand new pair of boots...

How long have you been wearing your Work America boots? I was a little surprised to see that "Work America" boots are made in China. I'm curious to see how they hold up. Do you know if the company is also Chinese?
Have yours' held up well?
marineabilly said:I've been wearing my WA's for over under two years (give or take). They hold up against my new, vintage and expensive engineers. I've had no problem with them. To be honest, I never paid any attention to where they were made.
GriffDeLaGriff said:Tried the sole from my sneakers and it felt prety good.
Then I bought a really nicely made sole in the shestore
and now I almost cant get the boot on, and after I get it on
it really presses hard against the upper foot.
Is this what happens if one has too big boots? Sound familiar?
I could just go with the simpler sole, its pretty good to be able
to have that extra room when it gets really cold, but I just wanna
get some input before I actually use the boots.
Im afraid they will get looser after wearing and maybe
Ill regret not changing them?
Will they mold to my foot or will they just get loose?

univibe88 said:Great looking boots! I think you should stick with the size you have. Maybe try just a heel insert instead of a full insole - that is what I did to mine and it helped a lot.
pipvh said:I had a pair of these for a while. Really good looking boots. They do slip a bit on the heel, but they do stretch a bit elsewhere and the heel issues settle down (or you stop noticing them). I would say if they feel OK for your toes - not too tight, and your foot isn't sliding forward and pinching them - then they fit. I found the toebox too narrow on mine, but they were steel. Useful, but uncomfortable.
