An absolute beauty from 1907. I remember seing something similar 29 years ago for sale in London. That was a Russian chauffeurs coat from around 1900. That was around £200 all those years ago, so maybe the price on this isn't too bad.

Last one of these I saw was sold for £80, mates rates, at one of the shops on Portobello Road.

£999 is certainly fair, though. The pelts & collar are usually knackered.

I found one of those in Halifax at the Value Village this past January for about $10. I can't find the solo shot of it, but it's top, second from the left, in this group board. Same full fur lining. I think I prefer the simpler front of the one on eBay to the toggle front of mine.
