Hi all, this is my first post on the Fedora Lounge so I am a little embarrassed to be trying to sell you something, but here goes: The item I am selling in the famous Akubra Federation IV Deluxe. The hat is a size 61 and is new and unworn, and remains unbashed and in its original condition. I am selling the fedora on eBay and since I am located in the UK, will only be shipping within the United Kingdom. It pains me to sell such a beautiful hat, as the quality of the Federation Deluxe is undisputed. However, it took the hat five months to arrive from Oz - because of the grounding of airlines due to the coronavirus pandemic - and in that time, unfortunately, I decided that I would not be keeping the hat once it arrived.
I am only looking to break even on the money I have invested in the fedora. The listing price is £200 but I am willing to accept offers if any of you are interested in purchasing this gorgeous fedora hat from me. I feel this is a rare offering, as otherwise to buy direct from HatsDirect would mean looking at a comparable and agonising wait time (plus import charges). The fedora will be posted exactly as received from customs a few days ago.
Here is the link to the eBay listing: http://ebay.us/lsUUa1?cmpnId=5338273189
Many thanks, and do please get in touch with me should this hat catch your eye
P.s. The hat has come out a little greyish in my photos because of the light, but its true colour is more the tradition sable-colour of the Indy fedoras.
