A new Eastman A-2 Flying

Jacket of the Rough Wear 1401 contract from their Original-Maker Collection without insignia is currently $1,475.00. This specific A-2 jacket being offered is lightly used and substantially discounted to $800.00 for that very reason.
There is only one available in the size listed and it was custom made in 2007 from Eastman’s first consignment of then-new Havana horse hide; a standard Rough Wear 1401 from ELC came in russet brown horse hide at that time and Havana was a better color match to Stewart’s original jacket, which we photographed at the USAF museum. The insignia was all custom made to match type, size, and placement from measurements taken of Stewart’s original jacket.
This coat is one of many (too many) from my personal wardrobe of flying jackets that now is creeping up on 50 in number and those I wear least are going to be sold.
