I didn't know it went back that far! I remember on an episode of China Beach one of the soldiers dismissively refers to a young woman who has arrived as a volunteer as a "doughnut dolly" but obviously that was an 80s re-imagination of the 1960s.

Aren't all doughnuts at some point fried/deep-fried? I don't want to wear that helmet after!

However? So cool! I wonder if our local SA (celebrating it's 120th year this year apparently - so the banner says) is doing something for it.
