Velvet jackets are perfect for the holiday season--pair them with dark flannel trousers or a classic tartan! This is a wonderful example. Cut from midnight blue velvet, this is a double-breasted 4 x 1 jacket; it fastens with a single button, making it considerably less formal than the usual 6 x 2 jackets.

This features patch pockets, including a lovely ****** patch pocket. It is wonderfully unstructured, having only a quarter lining. It features a single center vent.

Acquired in England, this was likely made in England, or possibly Italy, judging by the quality of the tailoring.

It is in excellent condition; indeed, it is possibly unworn.

There’s no fabric content listed, but this is clearly thick, cozy cotton velvet!
