As requested in my hastily aborted for-sale/trade thread, here are some detailed pictures of the jacket in question. Interesting to see how its construction differs from , but also in what ways it is the same as, my McCoys Buco J24L. It is much more comfortable to wear than the modern version, whether this is because of the slightly roomier cut or the wool lining I do not know. Little details like the materials used on the underside of the belt snaps and also the coin pocket seem as close as you can imagine. Anyway, enough of my waffle - for the likely very small number of people that are interested here's some pics.

Is there any way a mod can amalgamate this thread into my original one from a year ago - sorry, I should have just put these new pic in that and Ive now created a bunch of untidy threads. Apols!

Amazing. I can understand the dilemma of whether to wear or not, and then of course, whether to sell or not.

And thanks for the photos. I've got something coming up with Greg Field later next year and I know it's going to be Buco inspired. There's nice details here I want to pick up. Like I didn't even think about maybe doing a cuff.

I really don't think anyone here will mind.

Don't undersell yourself, or the jacket, or the intrest in such a jacket. :)

The Buco J24 is indeed a one of a kind jacket, that is highly sought after today and copied/re-copied over and over. Too many times to count.

There is a reason why: People loved it. They love what it represents, what is is, and even what it is not.

Take a page out of Almost Vintage Style's book and go do a nice outdoor photo shoot with it - it and you both deserve it! Enjoy this jacket - it's meant to be worn and enjoyed, and I for one am very glad you are deciding to keep it. Appears to fit you well there.

It’s a good thing you slept on it and decided not to sell it because if you sold it you’d probably never sleep again. !!!

Wow! I’d put it on the Japanese market and call it a day, this is going to bring in $$$. Unless of course you want to wear the hell out of it… stunning jacket and looking at it also fairly obvious how out of the various repros the RMC version is the one that comes closer in feeling to this original.
