dating stacy adams shoes?

while thrift store shopping today, i found a pair of stacey adams shoes that look to be the madison 00012 shoes on their website. i'd like to know how to date them, my girlfriend thinks they are at least 30 years old.. i can get some pictures posted if it will help...

I won't be able to tell until I see the pics. Usually if the shoe is in one of the classic Stacy Adams style (dayton, concorde, or madison) is made out a durable leather (not the incredibly crease-able kidskin they use nowadays) and have a vintage looking rubber heel, then you have a vintage pair.

Vintage Stacys are pretty rare.

Not sure how I would define vintage. I have a pair of 40s or 50s shoes. I am not sure that a 30 year old pair would be all that different from a modern pair, meaning kind of cheap and not worth much, but still cool becaus they are two tone stacys.

You can tell by looking at the leather, the heel, etc.

Did Stacys make vintage two tones. If so, were they kid or something besides white leather inside?
