I've never heard of Cye Stacey before, but I'm definately going to be looking about for them. Any idea as to the age of the hat?

Brim: 2-1/2"
Ribbon: 1-7/8"
Crown: 5-1/2"

Excellent I used to think that 2 1/2 inches was stingy for a brim but I actually kind of like it now. Again, nice lid man.

Yeah, the ribbon's really what drew me to this one. It's also got the wind string with the button sewn to the ribbon, which I seem to be seeing on more and more of my hats.

yeah, the second one was a stingy Cavanagh, 7-1/8, but while the Cye Stacey is on the larger end of 7-1/8, the Cav is much closer to the 7 end of the spectrum, so I can't really wear it.

That ribbon has a genuine authotity about it. The picture on my monitor shows it with a nice rich luster, and that bow is very expressive. Congratulations!

Excuse my naivete - you measured the crown in the front, right?

When I do crown height, I do open crown, unless the hat has a blocked in bash.

Yeah. This one doesn't have all that high a dome to the block, though.
