Customized varsity/letterman/baseball jacket makers

Hello fellow loungers,

I haven't seen many discussions about customized varsity/letterman/baseball jacket makers.

I have certain model in my mind: non decorated black varsity jacket with dress collar, raglan sleeves made of genuine leather and a boxy fit. I have searched vintage market but so far no success. That's why I am looking into the customized makers.

I am aware of Aero and Simmons Bilt have the offering but I would like to ask more input from the knowledgeable loungers.

The Dehen ones look very nice. I prefer decoration though.

On top Aero/SB there is also Johnson and Norshor he has those tri color thicker knits that the Buzz Rickson and RC uses

For OTR Golden Bear is hard to beat. They made the letterman jackets for Letterman's guests. And for value Roots Canada is hard to beat, made in Ontario for much less than what a Golden Bear cost.

Ebbets, Whitesville, etc are not going to customize though.

OP's best solution might actually be to order from somewhere that actually makes high quality varsity jackets if they're willing to do customizations for a one-off rather than a full run.

The knits look beautiful! I haven't found varsity jacket models on their website. Are they up for full customized projects?
Also looking at the price of Norshor offering, I found that they are in the same price range of Aero/SB. In this case, I would prefer Aero/SB because they already have such model available and closer to me geographically speaking.

Ebbets, Whitesville, etc are not going to customize though.

That Cushman is an old one I came across while browsing Yahoo Auction I just saved the pics in my cool jacket owned by others folder. Haha. The collar is particular nice on that one.

I think if you are located in EU it would make most sense to find one that is closer to you. The import charges there is crazy.

If you're in the UK or Europe, ignore these other suggestions and go for Aero since they've got two very nice versions of the design, a standard Letterman's jacket and a shirt-collared Ice Hockey jacket.

I wanted to get one but it is no longer in their line up after they upgraded to the new website. Will wait till next fall. Still on my list.
