I think this is a really cool motorcycle jacket, with some nice details, including the collar snap and elbow pads. It has no label, but as someone suggested on another thread, seems like it might be from the Canadian jacket maker Shields. And I bought it from a guy in Canada.
Measurements indicate that it ought to fit me, but it’s just a little tight around the torso. I am 6 foot about 185 lbs and take a 42 in contemporary sizing, maybe a 44 in vintage size. This is just a smidgen too tight for my taste, so I’m thinking of it as a size 41!
Measurements:
Pit to Pit, 22.5
Shoulders, 18.5
Sleeves, 24
Back, 25
I’ll sell it for $60 including shipping in the US. (Losing a couple of bucks on it but that’s OK.) here’s a chance to get a really cool vintage jacket in good shape, with some patina, for a very good price.
