i have electric, but i would love a wood stove again. we had one growing up and my mother & grandmother cooked everything on it.i don't know how they managed to regulate the oven temperature for baking, bu t i loved the coziness of it
Gas every time. I used to be a die hard ceramic/halogen fan but I've now got an enormous Beaumatic gas cooker (actually, it's called a cooking theatre! How pretentious!) and I wouldn't change for the world now.

Pretty darn miraculous I should imagine. When I conjure one up, I'll let you know! I literally laughed out aloud when I opened the manual for the cooker. Really.
