Stabo

As a WW2 reenactor it saddens me to see the Stabo pants that are made from WW2 British Bivi Tents. The trousers do look cool, but not worth it to destroy a bivi tent.

The Stabo trousers look very clumsily made. The rear pockets and belt loops are frankly hilariously bad. Particularly the belt loops.

Why the need to destroy historical artefacts like that?

I am sure that there are WWII re-enactors and collectors out there that would have been happy to pay the price of several yards of new fabric for these original tents.

I just don't get this....
