I had the wonderful opportunity of hearing Mr. Samuel Tso speak today. He is 86 or so (even he is unsure of exactly when he was born and so adopted the birthday of June 22, 1922 since it was easy to remember).

Mr. Tso was a Navajo Code talker in WWII, serving in the Pacific theater.

He is a truly amusing person and his stories made me both laugh and sniffle my tears away, over the course of the 45 minutes he spoke.

I cannot recap everything he said, but several articles do tell you some of the stories he told...so I have linked them below.

They first showed a wonderful film with several Code Talkers and their children or grandkids, on a trip back to the Pacific to visit battle locations etc. http://www.nmfilm.com/article.php?id=1118&title=Back+to+the+Battlefields
