Can you help me date this jacket?

Found this at a thrift store for about 20€ which is a lot for me, but since it was such a rare looking piece I thought I'd have it.

It's got that sort of half belt to it and it is not fully lined. Only in the sleeves and shoulders. There are no makers marks whatsoever. Lining feels like coarse silk. Which means it feels a bit like silk but otherwise it has the charasteristics of cotton.

Four patch pockets and four big buttons. These buttons are confusing me, they seem too big to be anything from the Golden Age, but the very heavy fabric says otherwise.

So. Either it's some tailor made piece from the 60's-70's or 30's-40's?

The fit is pretty good but as you can see the arm scye is not correct for me. I'll have to see about that. The arm holes are very high up because when I raise my arms the jacket lifts up zero to none. Very good.

And from the last picture you can see how the waist is quite well suppressed.

Any ideas?

It's old! European for sure -- 1930s to '40s.

That is a nice jacket, Sproily. Nice, fresh colours and a snug fit (which I like). I would say this jacket is made in the 30's or maybe 40's. Also a clue could be what are the buttons made of. I couldn't tell from the pics, but is it possible the buttons are made of glass. That may be an indication, with the style, colours and lining, that it is build in the 30's or 40's.

Will probably get them altered. They're a great length when I bring my arms forward a little, so it should be a matter of changing the angle.

The big buttons are probably with the expectation that the wearer will have gloves on when in this jacket.

The cut of the arms, as you describe it, almost makes me think it's some form of riding jacket, but then it doesn't appear to have vents in sides or back. (?)
