Just obtained this jacket, and want to have some fit opinions. I have never own any a2 jacket, and frankly the fit is weird to me it's 44 but has narrow shoulder and tight chest, also very short body lengh.

If somebody wants it, I'd rather sell it.

That A2 Looks like a pretty good fit! The arms look a bit long and baggy, and if it were mine I would also like another 1-2" in body length, but overall it looks good. It took me three tries to get a jacket that fit almost as well as the one you are wearing in the photos.
You mentioned that this is your first A2 jacket so I am not surprised by your comments that it feels tight through the shoulders and chest. The lack of shoulder gussets or a bi-swing back make the A2 a somewhat uncomfortable jacket when compared to the G-1 for instance. If I recall from some of your earlier posts I believe you like your jackets to be on the roomier side, so this one may not be for you.
It's a good looking jacket, and I'm sure you won't have any trouble moving it on if that's what you decide to do.

One thing also bother me is the the colour of back is lighter than others, I am not sure it is normal.

The shoulders look like a pretty good fit. The body length looks slightly short, but that could be because of the cut of the jeans. The sleeves look about right to me, and I suspect they will slightly shorten with wear and wrinkles.

Just for curiosity, what are the measurements of the sleeve (shoulder seam to the end of the knit) vs. the back length (collar seam to end of knit). They should be close.

I’ve seen the leather panels fade differently on some jackets. I have a goatskin A-2 that has one panel of one sleeve that is quite a bit lighter in color than the adjoining panel. Other panels on that jacket have faded differently, too, but not as much. Overall, I think this fading looks nice.

Within the parameters of an A2, it looks fine - they tend to be shorter in the body and tighter around the shoulders but relax after wear - though if you're used to a more modern look, it may feel a little 'off'. Is it new? I have a 30-year-old Aero A2 made from buffalo, and that has different colour panels and that just adds to the overall vintage feel of it. If it's brand new or only a couple of years old, I might be a little less enthusiastic. As Seres said, you'll have no problem offloading it and I'm sure you'll get your cash back no problem.

Thanks Sloan, I picked this jacket from Ebay, it said brand new and I tend to believe that since the sleeve hasn't get any wrinkles.

Interesting. I've not handled a BR that has that sort of variation, they ones I've seen tend to be very uniform, but that's not to say there's anything awry. A2s are weird in as much as they are the most straightforward of designs but the fit of a good repro can take a bit of getting used to.

The fit appears acceptable to me, although my preference might be another 1-2 inches in body length as I like my jackets to cover the belt. Otherwise, your A-2 appears to fit you more or less the same as my Aero Bronco A-2 does me. As @El Marro said an A-2 jacket is designed with less room for movement than say a G-1 that has a bi-swing back and gusseted underarms. Initially my Aero Bronco A-2 felt too tight in the chest and shoulders but now feels just about perfect for an A-2. My only concern is that I perceive the jacket is not what you like, and my experience with anything new I acquire is that if I don't love it early on, I tend to rid myself of it sooner than later. As others have said, you should have no problem offloading it if you decide to do so. For whatever reason A-2's seem to command significantly higher resale value than a G-1, although the G-1 is IMO a better designed jacket than the A-2. I like the fit - and the unusual colour variance is nice. It adds a touch of individuality where normally, as Sloan says, these things are carefully monitored by Buzz quality control for uniformity. If it was a 42, I'd have it!

I completely agree with you on this point Fanch. The G-1 is a much more functional jacket when it comes to comfort and freedom of movement. I also agree that the simplicity of the A2 only adds to its popularity.

Counterfeit? How so? I spend a lot of time looking on Rakuten and your A-2 certainly looks legit. Is it their Bronco hide?

I think everyone gets burned at some point on eBay. Just make sure you don't let the seller try to wriggle out of giving you your money back.

Generally eBay sides with the buyer. Given your concerns, why not simply contact eBay and the seller that you are returning the jacket as it is not as listed?
