'Budget' USAAF B3

Inflation in the repro world, nowhere moreso than in flying jackets, has far outstripped the rising level of my salary over the years, to the point where the shearling jackets I have my eye on will take at least the next few years to be able to both afford and justify the expense. Inevitably, I've been looking at more affordable alternatives of late. I have avoided ordering from further afield as I know if it's not up to expectations returns get expensive and problematic. I did however discover QMI.BE recently on a search (relating to Masters of the Air - they supplied USAAF greatcoats for the PoW scenes, though AFAIK the flying jackets were sourced elsewhere, including Aero). Their DeBrabander MFG B3s look nice in photos, though not managed to find any recent reviews. A few from about eight or ten years ago dismissing their A2s and textiles. Curious as to whether anyone has recent experience.
Not especially looking for contract-repros; generic / "house" is fine with me. For something I could conceivable be wearing out and about next Winter (as distinct from 2029), that's as decent as the likes of a Goldtop RAF or a used Avirex, I'd be very happy. Actually did consider the GoldTop, but can't quite get past the handwarmer pockets...
