UK loungers might be interested in a current exhibition at Tate Liverpool on the British Documentary Movement.
It explores the British documentary film tradition and its relation to art and photography...whilst it goes through to the present day, the core of the exhibition centres on the work of people like John Grierson, Edgar Anstey and Humphrey Jennings in the 1930s and 1940s with classic films like Drifters and Listen to Britain on continuous loop!
I plan to get there early and take a big flask of coffee...no, TEA
