That one pocket is certainly odd. What's the purpose of it, do you know? I can't imagine how it's intended to be used.

I believe it's for nails, as you can only fit a couple of fingers in the pocket. You can access the pocket from the top and from the sides. I'm guessing it's to keep something small from falling out as you're moving and bending.
