Hi there, I’m relatively new to the Forum; I’ve monitored it off/on for years, but have not had the time to contribute substantively (although I’m hoping to participate more often now!).
I’m actually looking for some advice—or recommendations—concerning the best source for the most accurate leather name strips for WWII period flight jackets. I’ve purchased from several sources over the years. My favorite source was Split-S Reproductions (one pictured herein). They used to offer their name strips on EBay, but they’ve vanished! The size of their strips, the font, and the weight/quality of their leather was perfect!
I’d welcome any information from anyone out there that might know how to find Split-S, or recommend other makers for me to consider.
Many thanks!
