BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE ARMANI SUMMER TRENCHCOAT
Tagged 46. Measurements:
Chest: 24
Sleeve: 25 1/2
Sleeve: c. 37 (measured like a shirt)
Shoulder: 23 (slouches into the sleeve)
Length: 52
Likely dating from the 1990s--when Armani was King--this is a classic Armani summer trenchcoat.
Cut from a lovely dark cream/light tan cotton cloth, this is a lightweight trenchcoat that would be perfect for Spring, Summer, or the early days of Fall.
It is a classic double-breasted trenchcoat with either buttons on the front, four of which are used to close it. It is also closed by a belt, while the cuffs can be adjusted with traditional cuff belts. The buckles on both the cuff belts and the main belt are metal.
It features a gunflap on the right hand side, epaulettes on the shoulders, and a lamb-chop throat latch that is concealed under the collar. It has two deep slash front pockets. It also has a deep single center vent.
This coat is lined in a lovely pale pink. It has two interior pockets--one on the seam, and one horizontal.
It has some minor blemishes. There are a couple of minor surface marks on the rear left shoulder, a spot by the hem, a spot by one button, and some discoloration on the collar fold, as shown. There is some minor fraying in the lining. And it seems to have had a very professioanl repair by the lower closure button, which consists of two lines of perfectly sewn repairs. These will be hidden when the coat is closed, and in any case I only discovered them when measuring!
This coat is thus in (conservatively) Good/Very Good condition, and is a bargain at just $45, or offer, boxed, shipped, and insured in the USA.
