I found this little hat at a yard sale and had to take it home. It is made by George Fischer in Salzburg, Austria. Does anyone know what this type of hat is called, how old it may be?

It is a Alpine velour hat. My guess is the 1960s. George Fischer could be the shop that sold it and not the maker. If you can take some pictures of the liner and sweatband (also if there is a paper label behind the sweatband) that would help. Could you please post it at this thread?
