I spent a few days in Phoenix during the summer some time back. I wouldn't recommend it. Highs of like 117 F. That's just downright dangerous.

You must have visited west Texas...Houston is everybit as bad and frwquently worse that Fla for high humidity. I lived in Merritt Island and Cocoa beach when I worked at the Cape and it is no worse than Houston. West Texas dry heat doesn't bother me near as much.

High humidity sucks, or would that be drips?
