Yes it's a bit long and a little bit schlocky, but the battle scenes are really well done, and Hallelujah, it actually has some action set at the Battle of Khalkin Gol, which is a little-known but fascinating precursor to WW2, all I need now is a big-budget film on the Gran Chaco war.....

I agree, Asia is doing some good movies. If you browse YouTube, the Russians are doing some fine work too.

My guess is because the poster filmed it off a monitor or TV screen.
