Art Deco/Streamline video game

Howdy! I've been lurking for some time now (I bought my first fedora in October 2005 and found this site some time after that), but this is my first post, so if I say anything beyond the pale, or I've posted in the wrong place, etc., please don't hesitate to correct me.

I thought some of you might be interested in these images of Bioshock, which is supposed to come out sometime in 2007. (Be warned that some, perhaps most, of the images contain video-game monsters, violence, and general creepiness.) Time will tell if I'll like the game or not, but I sure like some of the locations shown in the pictures.

Video games with old-timey style are few and far between (Mafia and The Godfather are a couple decent exceptions that come to mind) so I figured this might be welcome news to some folks.

I'm still waiting for mafia 2 to come out. godfather was a good game but could never compare to the original mafia.

metropd, I'd love to see a Mafia 2 also, but from a quick Google search, the prospects don't seem too rosy.

GOK, I think Bioshock will also be available for Windows PC -- though I'll bet it requires a pretty souped-up machine (or at least more souped-up than my 1999 Pentium II).

I'm not that into playing games on my computers, I prefer consoles. If it was for PS2, I'd pull a few strings and get a promo copy (pre-release code); however I don't have an XBox dev kit (nor a consumer machine), so I probably won't be getting it. I'll just have to rely on you guys to tell me all about it! lol

Bioshock is on my list to get. It follows I think the line of the bio series that came out years ago which were very scary. Artifical Intelligence mega computer goes insane and starts 'experiments' on its own.

The cheesy elevator music in the elevator while going down to the fourth floor, doors open, room full of mutant zombies...very surreal.

It will be out for the PC.

And yes this game will be very creepy...my kinda creepy.
