My question is this, Nation club membership or local? They both cost the same and I can not do both with my budget, If I could do meetings and events I would go local, but I have no plan of that right now. I just need good info.
Any help?
Thanks

Tough question. I used to belong to Iowa MAFCA - years before the internets (no car, but I almost snagged a '31 Victoria once).

Most of the local clubs are going to be meet & event, face-to-face oriented. This is typically an interest of people of the pre-internet generation, quite a few of them self conscious "old timers."

The national clubs (MAFCA and MARC) have plenty of info online, most of it in static webpages. MARC has a forum, but it's bare-bones and not organized.

Again, this is mostly not a community where people connect thru words on a screen, the way we do on the FL.

I'd say scan the big sites for what they have and then consider getting involved locally - because I think you'll have to go IRL to get the most out of it.

Thank You and Good Luck on your "someday Model "A".
My problem is that I have found both national ( I lean towards MAFCA ) and the local Colorado "A" club on the internet, both yearly dues are $40. What club should I join knowing I can not do both? My problem is this, with me being in a wheelchair and not driving at this point and on S.S.I. I really need to watch my budget or I would do both.
