Can't offer much on the brand, E-S, but the lid has a '50s kinda vibe. To my eyes it does, anyway.

Not familiar with the company, but looks like a good hat nonetheless. Let us know how it turns out.
There was a store called Modern Hatters in Newark NJ for many years. They sold seconds and old hats and were also renovators. The store clsoed a few years ago . they had over 25,00 vintage hats when they closed.
