Anyone ever see one of these? Is it as old as advertised?

I had no idea that they were making jackets with side-laces so early on. In my head, it's an 80s feature. Lovely piece, though.

Lining looks like nylon and collar would have some sort of age to it even if it had been stored. 70s 80s I would think.

All of that guys jackets are absolutely pristine. They look like time capsule pieces. The California sportswear jacket he has listed literally looks brand new, same with the Buco's. Pretty amazing.

Again the linings look nylon'ish. British jackets used a sort of sailcloth or quilted rayon during the 1950s to the late 60s(Not always red)

On the second ebay link, the seller is talking about a reference to this brand in one of Rin Tanaka's books. Would be great to check it out.

A couple of great Jackets. The Cali is just superb. I would like to own the Cali, but got too many jackets now. Both having the collar is a real plus to me. You don't always see those with the jacket.

I've got a early 40s police jacket with side laces. The Red lining is typical of post war jackets.

I have both those jackets on my ebay watch list. The Californian is absolutely Stunning. I own California Sportswear Jackets and they are as nice a Vintage Jacket as you will find. The Workmanship, leather Quality, Styling was Top Drawer. Interestingly there was a very similar Steerhide Californian that lingered on ebay. It too was very nice. I believe it was in this size too. I'm not a buyer, just can't. I think it is well worth the opening Bid. No idea on final price. Maybe no bids. It is a Beauty!
