I guess it's lucky that I always have my camera with me in the car.

Olds? Chevy? Pontiac? Tres cool. I think you need to add a flashing red light to your car's standard equipment, so you can stop these guys, get all the straight scoop on the car, and publish the info here in the Lounge.

You didn't ask, but here's the '38 Buick:

The prewar, midprice GMs are a lot less popular with car nuts because no one hot rodded them as kids, so they didn't totally make it into the car culture. Thus new-made parts are uncommon. Not true of Chevys.

My favorite Lincoln! Return the original wheels and I'll take it. ;)

If only I had my digital when I was driving. I must have hundreds of pictures like these that I could post if they weren't on film. I don't get much chance to shoot classic cars outside of car shows anymore, and I miss it.

Lots of nice period accessories on that '38 Chevy...side window visors, grille guard, fog lamps, Trippe Light and a good selection of license plate toppers. That Mobil flying horse on the front plate is my favorite.

And notice the gas rationing sticker on the windshield...very nice!
