An easy way to clean hat ribbon

A little dish soap & warm water. You take the ribbon off of the hat (just to be safe) & you hold the ribbon in you hands while you wash your hands normally, only instead of hand soap you use dish soap. Wash you hands while lightly rubbing the ribbon. When you are done, rinse off the ribbon & lay it out flat to dry between two paper towels. I had a ribbon that had a spot on it that naptha wouldn't get out. I used this method & the ribbon looks brand new.
