Am I going to see any other FL'ers at the DC rally this weekend?

Hey everyone, just wondering if I'm going to see any other fine fedoras at the Stewart/Colbert Rally in DC on 10/30? My wife and I are planning on going and expect it to be good for a few laffs and I'd love to see some other hats moving around the crowd, haha.

I wish I could go, I watch and enjoy both of their shows, but I am a college student and I've no resources to get there. So I'll be there in spirit, I suppose [huh].

Haha yeah I'm in Knoxville as well, and I can understand about limited resources. I was lucky enough to have enough credit card points to almost cover the hotel for 1 night. It will be a long drive but my wife is out of school Friday so we'll head to her parents for the night and then leave out early Saturday morning, and I took on Monday so after I drive back 8 hours I can relax Monday. I guess if nothing else you all can watch me having fun since they are broadcasting live on Comedy Central. Just look for a tall guy in an Art fedora!

I still haven't decided yet. Since I live just a few metro stops away, I can wait until the last minute to decide. It all depends on whether I can find a babysitter.

Well the rally was ridiculously crowded, but my wife and I had a good time as well as touring some museums and stuff like that. I actually saw a few hats, many cotton/wool stingys, some vented rain style hats, and a few nicer fedoras. It was nice to see a hat most every where I looked, and I got quite a few compliments on mine as well. My wife and I went in to Brooks Brothers on Connecticut Ave, I believe, and took a look at their Stetson for BB fedoras and lamented the lack of decent hats anymore. That being said it was a nice time, and the weather was great and traffic was not too bad to drive around the city a little. I really liked seeing DC as an adult since I was there in 8th grade and for about 2 days my freshman year with my college.
