The Riverina is a much larger hat. 4 inch brim and 5 inch crown compared to a 3.25 brim 4 crown of the coober peddy. Seems that the coober is meant for most situations while the Riverina would be an outdoor and sun exposed hat

Riverina is a serious outdoor, safari style hat for sure. Have used one as my hunting hat for years...
