After receiving my Aero 16160 trainee A2 in battered steerhide following the Quartermaster Sales, I've worn it for around a dozen times. It's a light-weight jacket, very easy to wear, and does not require any breaking in. Moreover, it's the same pattern that Gen. Chennault wore in his iconic photos with the Flying Tigers.
Reason for sale is simply that I learned over the past 3 weeks that I prefer HH over battered steerhide for an A2. The thickness of HH is slightly better for me in winter while in spring/summer I don't wear any leather. So here's one for anyone who wants a light jacket with really nice leather (photos see below)
Originally bought for £425 on Aero site, now at £340 (including shipping to EU/UK). Or offer me a deal via private message. A still fresh, 3-week old jacket!
Measurements:
Pit to pit: 22.25''
Back length: 25.5''
Sleeves: 26'' (along the curve)
Shoulders: 17.5''
