AdventureBilt Fortune & Glory

What with the possible great news about our own Steve Delk, I thought I would post a pic of my Fortune & Glory Fedora made by Steve.
It is truly a great hat. Soft, light an very adventureous looking.
New camera still getting used to it, the flash washed it out a little, the color is not that light.

Very nice. I recently acquired one of Steve's hats. It is a fine piece of work. I will be wearing it this weekend to the NYC Event.
I'll try to post some pictures soon too.

Here is a picture I took with my camera phone when my Adventurebilt arrived.

The hat looks and feels amazing in person! I give Fedora a major thumbs up! :)

ITG, you are going to love the AB!

My workhorse hat has been the Akubra Fed Deluxe. It is a very fine hat that has worn in to fit me like a glove. I have no complaints about the hat.

When I lifted the Adventurebilt out of the box the first thing I noticed was the smell ! It smelled soooo nice! :) I cannot describe it, you have to experience it for yourself. The felt is thinner and more dense than the Akubra. The workmanship it excellent.

I've always like the look of the AdventureBilt, being something of an Indy fan myself (not so much an IndyGear fan, not enough dough). It's remarkable what an exact reproduction it is. I hope it "gets the part"!

Thanks SHARPETOYS ,
Steve really makes a classy fedora, even if your not into the 'Indy gear'. The hats to me seem as if they were made back in the day.
Once agian Steve '' GOOD LUCK "

I agree...

I have 5 of Steve Delk's hats I just order them open crown and blocked them myself.

You can search the world and not find a pure beaver hat for $225.00.

Steve doesn't play the X game with his hats like one Virginia hatter I know.

"Charlie Jabber Jaws" is now up to a 3000X I guess he likes to practice BOHICA on his few customers...

Hi to all,
I'm thinking about an AB in my collection, I would like to own one in next winter. Usually I wear blue or gray clothes, it's my job clothes.
I know the really look might be a brown Indy hat, do you advice me to pourchase a brown or a gray hat, for my usually clothes?

...I can't buy a gray and a brown hat!!!!

Riccardo.
