Adams hats

I picked up a white Adams today at BCF. I liked it ok and couldn't pass it up for the price. Says its fur felt. I don't have anyway of posting a picture of it or I would. I know this is probably cliche', but is it ok to wear a white hat in the winter or should I keep it until spring and summer?
