Preowned Adam Deluxe Quality Genuine Panama hat in very good condition. Size label says 7 1/4. Brim is 2 1/2 inches. Crown at middle is 4 3/4 inches. Hat opening is length 7 3/4 and width 6 1/2. Ribbon is 3/4 inches. Sweat band is 1 3/4 inches. Weaves per square inch approximately 400. Very clean except for very small light brown mark near top of crown at front (see photograph). Thanks for your comment.
For me this hat is an example of how I am now looking at all hats. I look at the quality and characteristics of the each hat and am less concerned about the brand names, what others think, ranking of the hat brands, etc. This is really a well made panama from Adam company, a brand most people do not pay as much attention to like the Big Four (Stetson, Cavanaugh, Knox, Dobbs) and some other well regarded brands.
