Hello everyone:
Time once again for the CAF "Wings of Hope" event. August 8th, 2009 from 10am to 4pm.
Please contact me if you are planning to attend at: indieflmkr@aim.com
All Reenactor impressions from WWI to Modern (yes that's right -- Not just WWII), Civilian or Military, Female or Male, of any Nationality are invited to participate.
Vendors are welcome as well.
LOTS of vechicle display space. Limited outdoor and indoor display space is available. Please contact me if you would with any display area needs.
Lunch and water will be provided. Additional food and drink can be purchased from onsite vendors.
Please pass this email on to anyone who you think would be interested, but was no included in this mailing.
For those of you who may not be familiar with this event, it is a one day Open House event held by the Minnesota Wing of the CAF. The event is to help raise awareness of the Wing and the Museum as well as to raise money for various local charities. This year they will be working with 5 different charities:
Guild Corporation
Casa Guadalupana
With Wings and Halo
R.E.A.C.H. A Child
Second Harvest Heartland
The CAF has shown great support to reenactors over the years, in particular the last 5 years or so. Please help support this event if you can. If you can't make it. Please let your friends, family and neighbors know about it.
I hope to see you there!
Troy LaFaye
