I have three hats I'd like to sell in one fell swoop. All need cleaning and work. If you are looking for some practice pelts, or just want a quality pelt to send and completely refurb (fedora-tize) to your fav hatter, this is a possibility.
These are all: 3X beaver pelts, all are 7 to 7 1/8 range, all have 3 1/4 raw brims and no mothing except as noted.
Silverbelly Stetson, silverbelly or very light tan cream. Telescope block, but soft. No silk, sweat is intact and useable, just fair but not cracked. Nice felt, minimal moth bites, not holes, right on the ribbon area, thereby easily covered.
Light brown Stetson. Telescope block, soft felt, clean silk, sweatband is very good but lacking the stitching (of the ends) together in the rear. Felt is very nice.
Grey Resistol. Very soft grey felt, lots of dust left despite lots of shaking out. Sweat is worst of bunch, intact, not cracking but 1/2 loose from hat.
