I am not very technology savvy about older phones, but I do not see any dial on that??? Is there some way to place calls on that phone?

LoveMyHats2--No dialing out. Its what they call an extension phone. For example, something to keep in an upstairs room or hallway so you wouldnt have to go running down the stairs if the phone rang. Hth!

It's a lovely looking phone, btw!
