1948 Dated but possibly '30s SB Peak Lapel Belted Back 3 piece suit

Apparently a special order suit with what appears to be a 1936 Union Label, unless the original owner bought it NOS in 1948.

I can't tell if that date stamp reads "1948" or 1949." Either way, it's unlikely that suit would ever have been new old stock; it has all the hallmarks of being made-to-measure. As has been pointed out before, lots of smaller shops used whatever union labels they had on hand until their stock was exhausted, leading to intentness of older union tags being seen on suits with later dates. I wonder what this spiffy suit will sell for?
