1940s Swedish army boots, 1941 stamped, size Eur 45 US/UK 10.5-11
Imagine the significance of the provenance of the date in terms of world history!
Dark brown grainy leather, metal heel and toe protectors, rounded 40s last, bought deadstock and worn a few times but as you can see the sole and heel wear is minimal. The leather was conditioned and it is supple. There are a couple of surface scratches to the leather. Incredible quality, solid construction and heavy thick leather.
It is stamped a Euro size 45 which is equivalent to a 10.5-11. The insole measurement is to my best ability approx 11.5 inches long and the widest part of the shoe is 4 3/8. It is not a wide fit but feels very tailored on the foot.
