Hi guys,

I have been trying to find christmas carol recordings from the late 1930s early 1940s, but I am not sure where to start

do you guys know of any specific songs/artists

also, not to make this absolutely boring and worthless,

What is your favorite christmas song?

I love 'O holy night' but the one that always gets me is 'have yourself a merry little Christmas' as sung by Judy Garland in 'Meet me in St Louis' I always loved the film as a child, my dad was a real film buff and before he died in 1998 he bought me a music box which played it.

I have lots of carols on 78, but no use to you in Connecticut!

We've added a good number of 1930s and '40s Christmas carols to the playlist at Cladrite Radio. Give us a listen; I think you might like what you hear.
