1940’s Singer Moosehide Half Belt 42

Interesting pattern. It had the most itchy uncomfortable wool or alpaca lining which in a fit of insanity I removed. I have it still just need to dig it out, it features a moose on the company label, this and the unique character of the hide lead me to conclude moose hide. It has a hole near the left armpit and some cracking on shoulder. Pockets are all good.

Sadly one size too small. I have long wanted a moosehide jacket. I purchased an natural hide years ago and sewed my brother a heavy bag for his home fitness gym. I picked moosehide as it was thick but soft to the touch. Also had a great grain and thought then I would love to find a jacket made of moose hide.
