Late '30s, early '40s, made by the legendary Monarch Mfg. Co. of Milwaukee. Fantastic leather with great grain and wear. Interesting construction, and a really rugged style.

Thanks, Florian. I really wish I was in a position to keep it.
When I talk about how all the repro makers have similar products, and how many great vintage designs there are that have fallen by the wayside, this is the kind of jacket I'm talking about. Those lapels, those pockets, the way the front folds to the back without a seam. So much style that you can only get from an original.
