There are some rather unusual names for ice cream that are mentioned in the section just below the main article. Readers wrote of "Bunny Ears","Brown Derby", "Oyster", and one that may have been innocuous enough in 1930s England but would certainly cause an uproar now; "Black man" ice cream! Thankfully some things of the past remain in the past...
